About this product
Kri-kri is peanuts in a crunchy coating, which makes each piece bigger than a bare peanut. In this bowl the coat is orange tipping into red, rough and grainy, and the pieces are slightly long and even, so the bowl reads as one orange heap. Shake it and the pieces rattle like pebbles.
Taste
The first bite cracks the coat loudly, then you reach the peanut inside. One piece tells you whether the orange coat is hot or just gently spiced.
How to enjoy it
Kri-kri belongs to TV nights and football, eaten by the handful and loud enough to fill the room, with kids and adults reaching for the same bowl. In a mixed snack dish it sits beside seeds and qudameh and brings the loudest crunch.
How to store it
Reseal the bag every time; the coating pulls in moisture, and once soft it never quite comes back, so buy what you will eat in the next few days.
