Chocolate-covered pieces, each its own shape

Pink and white dragées with tiny feet and teddies
Lokum rolls with pistachio, wrapped in petals, for bitter coffee and guests.

Lokum rolls packed with pistachio, wrapped in rose petals
Pastel marshmallows for hot cocoa and children's parties.

Soft twists in pink, white and pale yellow
These are the sweets served in a small dish beside coffee or tea, not baked pastries like baklava. Mlabbas means a centre in a shell of sugar or chocolate, lokum is soft Turkish delight, and marshmallows are the soft ones kids go for. People choose by occasion: weddings and new babies have their mlabbas, guests get lokum with coffee, and Eid puts everything in one dish. Heat and damp affect all of them, so they like a dry, cool spot away from the sun. If you can't decide, a dish with a little of each keeps young and old happy. Here you will find chocolate dragées, dragées for newborns, rose and pistachio lokum rolls, and marshmallows, each on its own page.
