About this product
Whole cashews in a glossy coat of deep gold, dotted with small white crystals that catch the light. The crescents are large and even, and the coating clings to each one and covers most of it, so these look darker and shinier than plain cashews.
Taste
The coat snaps first, then the soft, buttery cashew comes through. Ask us whether the glaze is simply sweet or sweet and salty before you weigh some out.
How to enjoy it
It goes well with tea or coffee after lunch, and people put it out for Eid visitors because the shine stands out in a guest bowl. Some crush it over ice cream or cake for a sweet crunch on top.
How to store it
Keep it in its own closed tin somewhere cool, out of sun and damp; warmth or moisture makes the coating sticky, and it will cling to anything stored with it.
