About this product
Chocolate dragées: pieces under a brown chocolate coat with a soft sheen. They are not uniform, some long, some knobbly, because the chocolate takes the shape of whatever sits inside. Raisin, peanut or almond at the centre, ask us before you choose.
Taste
The chocolate melts first, then you reach the centre, which decides the taste and texture of each piece; with shapes this varied, every one surprises a little. Slightly cool, the chocolate snaps; at room temperature it melts sooner.
How to enjoy it
It sits next to white mlabbas in the Eid guest dish, turns up on film nights, and the kids always know where it is hidden at home. It also goes on top of ice cream or cake.
How to store it
Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from sun and heat, or the chocolate melts and the pieces stick; if summer sends it to the fridge, take it out a little before eating and leave it in its closed box so it doesn't sweat.
