Corn cones
Also called أقماع الذرة
Ridged yellow cones that fit on your fingertips
About this product
Corn cones are a corn snack shaped like tiny horns, open at one end and pointed at the other. They are pale yellow with a fine ridged grid and small green and dark specks like seasoning. Light, hollow and fairly even in size, they nest into each other in the bowl like a heap of little trumpets.
Taste
The crunch is light and airy, each cone gives way easily, and the corn flavour comes through under the specks. Those green and dark flecks suggest dried herbs or spice and give each cone a faint aroma.
How to enjoy it
Kids, and plenty of adults, wear the cones on their fingertips before eating them. A regular on film nights, trips and car rides, and a good partner for pretzels when you want two kinds of crunch in one bowl.
How to store it
Close the bag every time, because open cones go soft quickly, and keep it away from heavy shopping; the cones crush easily.
