About this product
Mixed nuts bring the staples together: whole almonds in shiny brown skins, golden cashew crescents, pistachios in pale shells, and a few round, pale grey nuts. Most pieces keep their own colour here, with none of the red coats or glossy glazes of the seasoned mix, so the bowl comes out in browns, golds and beige.
Taste
Each nut keeps its own taste: almond dry and firm, cashew soft and buttery, pistachio waiting to be cracked. With some shelled and some not, a bowl of it goes slowly.
How to enjoy it
It is the bowl for the middle of the table when the family gathers, on Ramadan nights, Eid evenings, or when someone drops in and you need something ready. It suits anyone who wants familiar nut flavours without bold seasoning; fans of strong flavour have the seasoned mix.
How to store it
Keep it in a sealed jar or tin somewhere cool and dry, as nut oils suffer in the heat; if the pistachio shells soften, a few minutes in a dry pan brings them back.
